User Research

Some tips

Ask early

And make sure your users are within reach

Test your assumptions

This is a crucial time to do it

Try to survey a wide range of users

Aim for 3 - 6

Ask open-ended questions

It'll help you avoid being told just what you want to hear

Listen, don't talk

The questions should be more like prompts - for helping your users to tell you about their needs

... and take notes!

User Research

Create your surveys!

Roughly 6 - 8 questions

And remember...

Test your assumptions

Ask open-ended questions!
